(Daily Mi: 13.3) Short quick hike up out of the gap to the first shelter in SNP. Wound felt okay. Got to the trailhead at about 9:30 am and made the shelter about 3:30. 2500' of climb over the 1st 10 miles getting up on th ridge. Crowded shelter (section hikers) but it was actually kind of nice to have company for the night.
