(Daily Mi: 0.0) Lost rainy day in P-burg. Got a ride to the Wal-Mart firt thing this a.m. with Brother. Have to admit the food selection wast pretty optimal, but kind of an intense experience all the same.

Hiked to town center. my winter bag was not in the afternoon mail, so I will have to check back first thing in the morning. Moved to the motel across the street from the P.O. in town so I can get the bag and be on the Trail first thing.

Bought fuel. Did laundry. Met a flip-flopper out of Del. Water Gap named Virgin who had been ahead me on the way to Katahdin (summited with the Woodman and Stout) and was now walking south with his girl friend. They are wearing coordintated Frog Toggs while they do laundry.

Took a long hot shower at the motel. Made some calls.
