(Daily Mi: 21.5) Really hot endless hike today. First time I ever thought the Woodman was going to crap out. Just endless steep hills in a row. Nice point at about 4 pm when we found a bunch of raspberries on an enclosed ridge. Stuffed our faces, more out of thirst than hunger. Met a bunch of SoBos doing the same. About 5 pm we realized that we were about two miles further out than we had thought, and hot, parched and beaten we marched up the last hill like grim death itself finally making the shelter -- and water -- a little past six.

Choo Choo came in well behind us (about 8pm). Said Stout had crapped out about a two miles back at a abandoned shelter where she was originally going to stop as well. He is/was probably a little worried about her. I am as well.

Good news is we are less than 15 miles from Hanover.
