1.  Hosted Stories Service: Submissions

Standard Times Tribune, Ltd. (the Company) provides its Hosted Stories Service (Hosted Stories Service) on an as is basis at no cost to submitting authors.

The Company supports the Hosted Stories Service as an independent service provider. The Company does not select material for publication, nor does it review user submitted material for appropriateness or accuracy.

Provided, author submitted material must conform to the technical requirements set forth in the composing/submit form help documentation found here.

Submitted material not meeting these requirement, as well as submitted material containing content that otherwise impedes database function or performance may be deleted from the Company's database at any time.

2.  Hosted Stories Service Directories

The Standard Times Tribune Hosted Stories Service Directories provide access the contents of the Hosted Stories Services database in html and xml (rss) formats on an as is basis at no cost to visitors and subscribers.

The basic Hosted Story Directory is a date/time sorted listing of complete contents the Hosted Story Service databases.

Additional views of the basic directory are be sorted accorded to: (1) author assigned categories (national news, world news, opinion etc.); (2) date and time; as well as (3) viewer/reader assigned ratings.

As noted above, user hosted stories included in the database and directories are not reviewed by the Company for appropriateness or accuracy.

3.  Copyrights in Hosted Stories

Users retain all copyrights in submitted content hosted on the Hosted Stories Service. Provided, by submitting material, author-submittors implicitly license the material for display from the Hosted Services database or directory, as well as distibution by third-party syndicators accessing the database RSS feeds.

4.  Notice of Copyright Violations

Standard Times Tribune, Ltd. (the Company) will make timely and appropriate response to complaints of copyright violations taking the form of a notice otherwise complying with a copyright holder's notice requirement under (17 U.S.C. § 512) and clearly identifying at least:

  1. the specific content allegedly infringing the copyright holder's interest and its specific location in the Company's system (system URL);
  2. the general nature of the original work that serves as the basis of the copyright holder's claim; as well as
  3. the general nature and scope of the of the injury alleged by the complaining copyright holder;
